Rules of purchases, returns and delivery times
TERMS OF PURCHASE, RETURNS AND DELIVERY TIMES
For a refund / cancellation, or replacement of a División del Norte jacket/order, follow the procedure below. Be aware that refunds or replacements can only be honoured if you purchased your jacket via our own webshop (at ddnorte.com), If the item was purchased thru one of our re-sellers located worldwide, please contact the re-seller in question and ask for their rules and procedures. They will be glad to assist you. If you require, please call or email us and we'll be happy to assist you with your issue.
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the delivered product. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement thru email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation If you cancel the purchase, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least ex-pensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than – (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
NOTE: The service of free world-wide shipping does not include eventual custom fees charged by the local authorities. By accepting the terms of purchase, returns and refunds upon placing your order online, you are permitting División Del Norte to charge your credit card for the equivalent amount pertaining custom duties that your particular order may have incurred in.
If a refund is required: You will be credited the price of the jacket within 14 days from the date División del Norte receives the returned jacket. Note that it is at the sole discretion of División del Norte if the product is deemed "in good condition" upon its return. We urge you to package your returned item with care, close all buttons and zippers and do not employ a small box, carton or packaging solution that can alter the product.
You have the right to receive the product brand new and without defects (unless consciously bought while informed prior to purchase of a present fault, damage or state of the product), you have the right to receive the product corresponding to the size, color and model of the order confirmation. We remind you that you have the right to a return and refund for whatever reason 14 days after the delivery of the product.
Pictures of jackets: Due to the nature of our business, the materials employed and the manufacturing process, minor differences between the product seen on our website and the delivered product may occur. División del Norte reserves the right to make any adaptations necessary to its product line-up without any prior notification. Please contact a División del Norte sales representative if you have questions or doubts about this point.
In the case of a jacket being undeliverable, Division del Norte will claim the unit back and can refund the customer if requested. The refund sum will be determined by substracting all transport and transport related costs from the value of the jacket plus a 15% penalty of the value to compensate for opportunity costs. Our transport partners usually notifies customers in excess of three times that the jacket has arrived and they are trying to deliver it. Make sure your adress and telephone number are accurate when you execute the purchase to avoid such events.
